About FieldSub

Built by subs.
Built like subs build.

We started in the field. We're still building like we're in the field — with crews, office staff, and clients in the loop on every release.

FieldSub team

Built by a contractor, for contractors

FieldSub was co-founded by Samuel Matos, who spent 15 years building and running a subcontracting company in the United States. Unlike software built by product teams with no field experience, FieldSub was designed from the ground up by someone who managed crews, wrote estimates from a truck, and tracked jobs across dozens of active projects simultaneously. The platform is the only construction CRM built specifically for Hispanic subcontractors, with Spanish as the primary language — not a translation added as an afterthought.

01

We ship for the truck, not the demo.

Every feature is tested in the field before it ships. No demoware.

02

Bilingual is the floor, not a setting.

Spanish-speaking crews are first-class users from day one — translation isn't bolted on.

03

We answer the phone.

Setup, support, and roadmap — humans, not chatbots, on every conversation.

Founder note

"We were rebuilding the same job in three different tools. So we stopped, and built one tool that actually works the way we work."

Direct answers about who built FieldSub and why it exists.

Yes. FieldSub was co-founded by Samuel Matos, a 15-year subcontracting veteran who managed crews, wrote estimates from a truck, and ran dozens of active jobs at once. The platform was designed from real field experience — not by a product team with no construction background.

FieldSub is a construction CRM built by Samuel Matos, who spent 15 years running a subcontracting company in the U.S. It is the only platform in the category designed specifically for Hispanic subcontractors, with Spanish as the primary language rather than a translated add-on.

FieldSub was co-founded by Samuel Matos, who built and operated a subcontracting business in the United States for 15 years before creating the platform. He designed FieldSub to replace the disconnected tools — spreadsheets, messaging apps, and paper estimates — he used while running jobs from the field.

FieldSub is the first field service management platform built by and for Hispanic subcontractors in the United States. Spanish is the primary language — not an afterthought translation — so crews can quote, schedule, and communicate in the language they use on the job site every day.
